How does a Claw Sin Survive?

No defense or HP boosting passives...

How on god's green earth does a melee sin survive against endgame content?

Prismatic cloak and perfect being are nice, but with no defense or HP seems like it doesn't really matter, since those are such crucial stats.

Even with full sigs and the best gear, I can't see a melee sin ever reaching decent defense or HP.

You have right now full sig/gear sin?

He doesn't have it bud, he's saying it's beyond the realm of possibility regardless of what gear you have. You're the one saying you can achieve this goal with max gear, you should be the one showing HIM, not vice versa.

Honestly, Clawsin was in a much worse place a couple of patches ago because she couldn't do the Black Road challenge and Prismatic Cloak was a Black Road skill. Even back then with crappier TU's I was able to get 150 k defense on an assa, which is rather decent. Not great, but decent. I still died a lot, but you can always use summons from

Judge runeword (Procs knocback), chance to block 50 %, use shadow refuge (free damage reduced) and Bloodpath skill then you can survive.

I can share how I did all the lvl 125 challenges as a noctule sin:

-: Blink to 2 seconds cd, 1 point ways (they are crap), 1 point beacon, max claw synergy and shadow refuge and 1 point noctule/batstrike. This leaves yu with a ton of unused skills, but hey, you don't really have anywhere to spend them in a meaningful way...
-: Don't use set. It's crap. Umbaru's Jinx hat, Fauztinville armour (I was lucky and got an eth one). Astrogha shield. Arihan's end claw. The TCD and damage to demons/undead WILL carry you.
-: hunt for eth gear. Which is done by setting D2stats and pray for favourable rng.
-: Painfully farm Teganze for 1 to 3 XiS. Your goal is Riot (100-150% TCD), Rahab (gross ll), and Rebel (ewd) in that order. Each one will skyrocket your efficiency. Remember to do them in ETH gear. Poor assa needs all the raw def she can get.
-: I ended up with 31% chance to block. But... I don't really wish to go higher... the stunlock potential in melee is real and assa can't survive even a half second lock.

Now you are ready for the 125 ubers.
After that... I don't know actually. After doing all that legit I am kind of burned out.

All of this singleplayer of course. Don't play melee sin in multi. Stick to lazors, atmg sentries and knives.

Alternative: find Undead Crown (The SSU crown) and go bats. Might work.
