I find this topic a great idea. Here are a few things I needed to research:

Relative drop rates for the Fauztenville and Toraja Great runes are the same:
Taha / Ghal / Qor -> 3 / 2 / 1
Krys / Auhe / Sha’ad -> 3 / 2 / 1

To tank QuovTsin you need to have 80% of fire/cold/light max resistance and 200 Reduced Physical Damage.

Assur (Duncraig Boss) has -200% of enemy fire resistance.

Umm I guess here's a few:

-Thunderfury is a 25% chance to proc on attack. (Docs haven't been updated since 1.1)
-Thunderfury on relic is a 8% chance to proc on attack. (Undocumented information)
-Doom on non-assassin characters does not give magic pierce.
-Faerie Fire does not give avoid on non-druid characters.
-Defensive harmony is +10 +4/lvl life when struck not +10 +5/lvl as stated in the newest patch notes.
-Medusa o-skill still uses the attack2 animation meaning that using a Necromancer with a scythe will cause the attacks to be no lower than 11-frames. (I'm sure there's more skills that still use this animation)
-The following items have their orange text disabled when dual-wielding [Only known by players who played in 1.1 or have read 1.1 patchnotes]:
    The Colonel
    Thunder King of Sescheron (Only Stormblast line)
    Grandfather
    Wizardspike
- Items cannot be MO'd past +150 level requirement to prevent Iron Golem abuse.
- Despite Xorine Ring description, the ring gives +1 projectile to both “Punisher” and “Punishers”
- Superbeast proc on Panthera’s bite only lasts approximately 5s-10s.
- As Paladin it is possible to receive both Vessel bonuses while still being able to pick up Superbeast. This is done by only applying points into the VoJ Tree and picking up Superbeast. (Obviously this is pretty useless as it makes the character lose survivability but it confuses the hell out of players.)
- Whirlwind and Windform can proc “On Attack” and “On Striking”.
- Kraken Stance and a few other skills that add passive elemental damage are affected by spell dmg% but ONLY with melee swings (Also whirlwind and windform).
- Spell damage buffs can be applied twice to totems (they can inherit it from you when you summon them, and then you can buff them).
- Totems inherit your re-animate% however they are not affected by the Slain Monsters Rest in Peace modifier meaning they can bypass the minor downside of items such as

- You can actually multihit poison in MXL, because due to how it works (first frame reapplies). Spam Plague avatar on a boss as opposed to 1 cast and you will see a noticeable difference. It's also worth to re-apply poison to get a higher dps roll.

- Characters can become immune to both poison and burn damage types, using poison and fire res shrines respectively. Triune cheese anyone?

- Incineration Trap ignores %avoid.

- Assassins don't require keys to open chests

spelled backwards is "Aerial's Nerf". Back in Laz era, aerial would often influence balance/nerfs. Laz would ocassionally struggle to find a middle ground between aerial's opinion and community wanting OP, as any dev. Notable case is 1.F9 pouncesin, a build pioneered by aerial. This build was about as broken as any build can ever get, which is why ocassionally you can read a few people mentioning F9 as their fav version. Back then pounce was buffed/nerfed back and forth until killed and replaced by shunpo (much weaker than current) and a lot of people got really upset. There's many more references to aerial in the files, such as earthquake being called "Aerial's Disaster" internally or Static Lance's string index being...

? The item is a reference to whist, Dacana being an anagram for Canada and "fist" being how we call him in the team. The stat rolls are as such because you never know what you're gonna get, sometimes you'll be disappointed but other times amazed. (ps. we love you anyway)

- Whimsyshire exists? I don't think so. Or does it?

- Quov tsin's internal name is "omgitslaz". This may explain what kickstarted his crazy "uber endless lazorbeam" concept. However, both QT and Laz bosses were introduced in MXL alpha and QT was never called Laz ingame. Maybe he was the initial plan, until Laz realised he'd rather make a different boss out of that battle.

- There's a merc of each act that references a community member. Zennyel being probably the least known, was a member that posted really weird stuff in the old forums 7 years ago. He made a radio station where he identified himself as a "bisexual turbo squirrel" and would post pop music video with their giant colored lyrics and weird unrelated stock imagery. He would later start posting tons of pictures of himself traveling, extreme close-up pics of his face, eventually himself borderline naked "posing for art" (NSFW). He had some really uplifting energy. Legend lives on.

- You can tell if a skill requires IAS or FCR simply by looking at what animation the player does. This seems pretty obvious but people still ask the question all the time. You can always cast town portal (cast anim) or swing normal attack (swing anim) as a reference.



PS. I know many of them aren't median specific, but probably a few people don't know about them. Hope I didn't derail much into community/history stuff. Will add more as they come to mind :)

Did you know you are allowed to mule with just yourself?
Seriously, MXL is fine with someone opening two different accounts from the same IP address so long as both characters stay in town. You can easily, quickly, and safely transfer items in TSW between your characters in a private room.

I have met a lot of people here that did not know that. I hope they read this :)

Referring to Dear Esther? Didnt that just turn into Etrayu? Or was it a different bow?
