Runeword Tool ?
I was wondering whether there was anything like the Rune Tool for Eastern Sun for Median XL ?
Because it's not particularly convenient ?
Here you check the runes that you have (and maybe also uncheck items and sockets you do not) and you can immediately see what runewords are available. Especially nice when you drop a brand new rune !

I don't think such tools are very effective, but maybe they work for you. It's better to check what runewords are usable for your build and see which runes you need to search for.
