I'm not using any merc atm due to their poor surviability, they die extremely easy in place like TA or Fauzt, which are also my main farming spots. It's a shame though since they'd be pretty strong with all the buff this build has. Until I can find a solution for their squishiness, I don't think I'll use them.
fautz merc survive easy to get with:
a1 ranger merc
tu6 short war bow, filled with ias jewels or sha runes, to make this bow superfast for miasma procfest
crafted hidden shrine circlet / optional : thur circlet for teleport on struck
vith belt
ath boots
nih armor
fill up some ber craft jewels
gloves optional, something with ias, ar, maybe abadoned crafts or tu6 gauntlets
amulet ctc banish
mo with skellie reanimates
a2 merc sucks, a5 merc melee is far better in fautz, section down below
a3 merc bloodmage
rha rune in t6 cs or long sword, with fcr jewels
thur circlet for teleport on struck
vith in sacred belt
ath in sacred boots
nih in sacred armor
qor in sacred tower shield, make sure streq is enough there, or make it in a sacred kite shield / if no qor to use in stash, then craft a kite shield or bone shield with 1-2% blockchance - 10%dam reduce or give him the trapratset shield, or sorc melee set shield, also from the assasin claw set the shield has max block abilitiys, very cheap options, but questionable if he even can get higher base block from shields, but should be, however..rare shields drops enough...
fill up with fcr jewels, crafted fcr jewels or easy fcr runes i think ix was it
gloves pul rw with fcr jewels / or fascinating shrine with creepy blessing and 4perfect diamants to get str bonus for higher str req gear, if not get some -10%req jewels for him
amulet +3 skill (4 on luck) with nightmare on struck or some other on struck proc / reanimates / important : fill it up with flat dam reduce orbs
fill up rest gear with fcr in weapon, enhanced defense, some resis maybe, reanimates, some fhr
a5 merc wulf
crafted sa flamberg with spike nova on kill / shower of rocks on kill but he has it alrdy as skill / miasma on striking .....or some other test it yourself
or an tu6 flameberg // both i would put in 2 ias15 ber craft jewels and 4 jah runes or 4 perfect rainbow stones, because it looks like he will not kill that much, but with the tri ele dmg from DF totem and alrdy 50%++ cs from howling totem he will crush allot on the necrobots area, when using thunderslam every few seconds and shower of rocks them out quickly

kra in sacred ancient armor or gothic plate make sure to get 18k def ++ on it, 20k maybe is possible, mo got nerfed a bit, something like that turns out
tu6 heavy gloves
amulet +3 skill (4 on luck) with LAEK, LL, flat dam reduce and no ctc curses like banish cuz it will overwrite all his showerrocks curses

fill gear with ber craft jewels
fill up the weapon with dmg %, cs, ds, some more LL,
