I am wondering about some gear options like finding MO ctc hammers and since things like the 200% ed threshold have changed. Also only being able to MO 5x any orb (best I can figure out) what should I change in general to get towards high def and block in the early game setup?
I don't have very much game knowledge in how to find different gear or optimize the gear setup.
well since you're in terror , your main goal is to farm shrines and get crafts asap . you can do that by going trough Fauztinville a few times . Regarding the MO's , you first need to reach the %ED cap on weapon and armors . Since you will want to socket Io runes /perfect amethysts for boosting the dexterity in order to reach max block , you will lack resistances , so you may mo the armors with %resistances untill you max them . if there is any more space remaining after that , you may mo with FHR . for the rings you may mo for resistances if there is any more needed after you MO your armors , then you may add some duration MO's in order to have a longer MOTW buff .

The second being are there any MO's to focus on for the build?
the main tactics there is to have demiurge on every time you fight (wait for timer) and gain as many reanimates as possible asap so they may do the tanking while you deal damage from behind them . As for the MO's , forget about maxing the %ED , as that won't help you much - you're not a tank (the reanimates do that part) . MO for extra fire spell damage wherever you can (armors/rings) . for the weapon , mo with life after kill and energy factor to spell damage .
the build is a glass cannon . you need to max your main sources of damage and let the reanimates do the tanking .

I am intrigued by your guide #9 the Crystal Maiden, I really like the idea of a fire/ice sorc even if it isn't the best. Do you know offhand if anything has drastically changed on this build? I don't want to go in and get destroyed if some part of the build was gutted by MxL2017.
Thanks for your help. Keep up the good work.
the build was actualy boosted in this new patch . The damage boost from Firedance is better , the summons gain more life and deal more damage , even if they were caped at a lower number . your main goal is to craft an armor with Acid fiends oskill asap .
the build can do great with the mid game gear untill "extremly hard"/"impossible" difficulty ubers.

i'm following lagertha build, what MOs should i use for full set Vasily's Falling Star
if you don't have at least 3 set parts as the miniguide sais , just the weapon , go for a weird craft instead . If you do have at least 3 set parts and gain the Sor after kill bonus , the weapon may be mo'ed with extra deadly strike (after you reach the 200% ed cap - lucky upgrade may help here -> good luck )
