Introduction
Important: Please read whole guide to get overall good look on the build. not only skills and gear cause they doesn't quarantee you to get this work.
This guide guides you from level 1 to level 120 and to Late-Game where you allready have few charms and black road challenge done and you can farm efficiently. With Wolf druid you can achieve very fast kill speeds even in Fauztinville, vizjun, duncraig, TA. Dcows. Torajan jungle, Teganze. There is many builds for wolf so explore, ITS FUN!
At the end of this guide i will go trough some variations you can try that works.
Pros:
- Very good at Farming.
- Pounce Style!
- VERY FAST!
- Screen wide AOE Damage.
- Fast Traveller
Cons:
There is not much. Ubers are easier to kill with wolf druid thanks to buffs on 1.2 and 1.3

You want to have following breakpoints and values / if you want fast clearspeed and good survaivability
110% ias on weapon. this is what i like to keep. below is also quoted suchbalance's comment about Wolf's Attack speed. So if you had exactly 96 IAS on your long sword and are keeping MotW up you would need an extra 6 IAS on charms or the rest of your equipment to hit that breakpoint.
10k+ Life
100k+ Defense
280 Fhr (breakpoint where you are not getting interrupted almost by anything) if you are planning to run fauzt then its preferable to get 295% fhr since monsters curses you with -15% all speeds time to time.
50%+ Crushing blow if you go over 70% your clearspeed is allready very good only with this!
50% Damage Reduction.
Your werewolf form gives you also 30% avoid vs Projectiles! also you can use Fairie fire uberskill to get this as high as 65%.

The spreadsheet is updated in 2017 so if you use it correctly you won't make a mistake. I guess some confusion comes from what to actually put in the green cells:
- Skill IAS = attack speed that comes from skills such as MotW, rapture, Ecstatic Frenzy, wolf stance etc.
- Gear IAS = attack speed on any piece of equipment or charm
- WIAS = attack speed on the weapon alone
- WSM = read from docs/base items e.g. -10 for long sword

► Playstyle
Playstyle
You keep yourself alive on killing stuff so you cant afford to stay still long periods of time. Walk allways and start by using Manapulse on enemy. Next 5 seconds you have unlimited mana so just harbinger forward. when you are out of mana then just hit monster 1 time and you are good to go again. You need to be OVERAGRESSIVE with this build, If you have to, just kill everything before you check if something dropped.
To get killing: You precast your spells (Fairie fire , Symbiosis, MOTW).

► Leveling Guide
Before we start: Leveling and playing only in wolf form gives you anormous clear speeds and XP during your travelling that is kinda fun but the downside of this is that certain parts of the game you need to gear up and twink your gear a little. You allways wanna stay ahead of your level monsters in defense as long as you can. They still start getting ahead as you go on in terror but this is where you get fairie fire to help you out.
Cube Crafting that you rly need to know when you play as wolf:
Any non-sacred item + Oil of Enhancement + Arcane Crystal x2 → reroll item as unique (with this you can make your own Tier unique items)
Unique non-sacred weapon/armor + Arcane Crystal + rune → reroll as next higher tier (with this you can upgrade your Tier Unique items to the next level. Beware level and Stat requirements tho! check Documentation before doing uptiering!).
Any weapon/armor + Catalyst of Destruction + rune → reroll item as superior quality + Catalyst of Destruction (with this you can make base items for runewords easily).
Non-magical item + Oil of Renewal → reroll item with this you can roll those runeword base items so that you get best possible damage or defense to item before you make the runeword. Dont forget to use Luck Potion to these items also!
Magic item + Oil of Renewal → reroll item ( Very useful when you need to do Attack speed jewels before LC2)
Few important Points:
Allways keep your Mercenary up since he will own with harbinger Mercanary gives you free and HUGE amount of damage and your clear speed goes even faster. Also keep your mercenary items up to date time to time! if you love him/her they dont die so often
Level your Werewolf form allways you can take points to it to keep lycantrophy active
Levels 1 to 12
Use Manapulse to kill monsters. Manapulse has kinda high cold dmg at beginning so it 1 hits
monsters down. These levels are slowish but safe since you are pretty tanky. Kill Blood Raven and get your free merc and put some good bow on her!
Levels 12 +
Level up harbinger and start using that instead. if you run out of mana, use mana pulse to monsters to leech. at this point on you want to look to craft
Farm tristram atleast so long that you get
Werewolf form Smax, 1 point to manapulse, 1 point to harbinger, 1 point to Pagan Rites.
Act 1 End (about level 20)
At this point on everytime you can you put point to Werewolf form AND harbinger until harbinger hits 10 base levels.
Also now that you killed Andariel. You should run this few times : Go inner sanctuary and take horadric malus. after that kill andariel and take tier uniques to make few ACs. I needed total of 25 AC on whole game but i played only on wolf form so that could be why i needed that much upgrades
On Act 2 your best friend is Sewers. You can run this place very fast and get some needed money. try to get your resistances pretty much full in Act 2 for not getting trouble in later acts like i did.
Act 3 - 5. These i have kinda nothing to say. just upgrade your gear as you need and harbinger forward like madman. on point where you go A3 switch your mercenary to abjurer and you get even more powerful than before! if you encounter magic immune, use twisted claw to kill them fast .
When you have spare points: your werewolf form is full, harbinger is full, feed the pack is full then put point to acid fiends and rest points to poison flash to get life to them. they are great tanks! keep them up all the time.
LC1 Before level 50: Just take your abjurer (A3 merc) with you and cast Acid fiends before him to tank. abjurer takes care the rest. Very easy!
Terror: This is gear check time. when you hit 59 you start looking to craft
Ennead challenge: just get this from normal and kill first summoner and reset the game. or if you want just clear whole level.
LC2: for this you need some defense and attack speed. check video below:

Black road challenge: Go dest act 2 when you are 120 and got monster tokens. now you can get Dark summoning so you can start doing Black road challenge
1. Trial of Fear
Summon few acid fiends , then summon Butcher. let butcher kill acid fiends until he spawns pentagram.
Lure Butcher over it and kill him with twisted claws: Cube CC on swirls
2. Trial of Greed
Do this same time as Blood. Gather everything from TA and sell it. drop 666666 gold and rest to ground and take 666666 amount
to your inventory and cube the CC
3. Trial of Contrition
Summon King koth and go away! dont harbinger on them!! kill those barbarians 1 by 1 until king koth is vulnerable. then just twisted claw to him until he is dead = cube CC
4. Trial of Knowledge
You need over 40k defense to this one. Take it very slowly!! kill few monsters at a time if you have to. you eventually get the brains. also use fairie fire and elvensong to get avoid.
5. Trial of Blood
Get about 20-30k defense and go here. summon acid fiends, take your abjurer with you and go harbing. harb everything, your harbinger shoulnt have
that much dmg at this point that it kills Boss Amazons so you can just kill everything else. then just lure lightning amazon to cold one and kill them.

Terror difficulty goes even easier than hatred tho only thing where i had problem was when i arrived to A3 and my resistances lacked again. you need to get those updated when you are in Act 2 for sure.Natha

► DEATH PROJECTOR
Same as LC2 but might take little more time to kill this one.
► CREATURE OF FLAME
let the ghosts hit you so you get invulnerable buff. then just run to creature and twisted claw him to death. he runs so take him to corner
► INFERNAL MACHINE
Harbinger to infernal machine and kill it with twisted claw. can be frustrating since elites are quite powerful. but eventually you get the charm. just be pantient and kill infernal machine even by 1 twisted claw at time. i needed many "brb's" to kill this
► RATHMA SQUARE
Get over 200k Defense and some 10k life before going here. then just harbinger to rathma and kill him with twisted claw.
► AZMODAN
Harbinger to azmodan. kill him. if you take too much dmg. harbback and kite monsters until you have enough hp to go to azmodan again.
► CATHEDRAL OF VANITY
Lure monsters to enterance room. Blink over the wall with "nef" rune staff or Jitan's Gate and do tp. harbinger to orb and use twisted claws to it. after that just clean up the level and summon inarius's Revenge. if you have enough defense you can kill these easily. if not then you have to kite them and kill them 1 by 1. just remember to keep tp up all the time.
► THE BUTCHER
Summon Butcher and keep 2 summons allways up. when pentagram appears stop summoning and wait till he walks to you. then just twisted claw him to death.
► THE BINDING OF BAAL
Divide and Conquer: Summon and go back. wiat till minion monsters come to you and kill them 1 by 1. then just twisted claw to boss.
► ASSAULT ON MOUNT ARREAT
Divide and Conquer: Summon and go back. wiat till minion monsters come to you and kill them 1 by 1. then just twisted claw to boss.
► AKARAT
You need high defense and some movement speed to do this also more dmg!. Summon and run circle around them to evade hammertime. then just harbinger over them. when you see minions dying just twisted claw to akarat. This is not easy for wolf witouth dmg so dont do this 1st.
► LORD ALDRIC JITAN
Divide and Conquer: Summon him to enterance of halls of pain go back. Wait till minion monsters come to you. then just kill them 1 by 1. when you see fortress and guard towers leave to town or go outside of the hallway they are in to not get hit by arrows.
► JUDGMENT DAY
keep your precast staff equipped and summon. then take some distance and start summoning minions over them. when you see inarius or malthael to spawn just turn to wolf and twisted claw him to death. then take the charm and go out of the game. make new game and summon them again. same thing except now you wait until both of them are summoned. and kill them 1 after another. but please know this. as wolf this is kinda hard so dont do this 1st ! you need around 200k defense and 10k hp.
► KURAST 3000 BA
Just go there and harbinger over orbs and twisted claw them to death. i needed 170k defense and 7,5k life to do this.
► ISLAND OF THE SUNLESS SEA
Kill Malic’s messenger and go to town. wait about 5 seconds so blast waves end summon your army of summons before going in. then go back in and harbinger to malic and twisted claw him to death. now want to kill lucion. there is 2 things you can do. either just harbinger to him and twisted claw him. this will be risky since if you die. you cant get your body. but if you wanna be more safe then just clear the level slowly and kill lucion when he has less monsters around him.
► KHALIMGRAD
Nothing special here. watch out for punishers. kill floating Avatars when minion dies near them. twisted claw is your friend once again
► TRAN ATHULUA
You need around 100k defense and over 8k life to go here. also 86 fhr breakpoint helps out. just usual harbinger and kill everything. twisted claw to amazons. watch out for Arrowsiders tho. they will hurt if they hit you over your dodge, avoid and defense.
► QUOV TSIN
Either Spec to Rain of fire or then get bow + 100% open wounds. take over 400 resistances and damage reduction to jewelry. Shoot him as many times with rain of fire / bow until he either teles near you or casts bone spear nova. if spears from the nova hit you they kill you 1 shot. avoid them at any cost! if you die to quov tzin he heals about 10%. keep doing this until he dies. took me about 20 minutes with rain of fire.

Harbinger to infernal machine and kill it with twisted claw. can be frustrating since elites are quite powerful. but eventually you get the charm. just be pantient and kill infernal machine even by 1 twisted claw at time. i needed many "brb's" to kill this
► RATHMA SQUARE
Get over 200k Defense and some 10k life before going here. then just harbinger to rathma and kill him with twisted claw.
► AZMODAN
Harbinger to azmodan. kill him. if you take too much dmg. harbback and kite monsters until you have enough hp to go to azmodan again.
► CATHEDRAL OF VANITY
Lure monsters to enterance room. Blink over the wall with "nef" rune staff or Jitan's Gate and do tp. harbinger to orb and use twisted claws to it. after that just clean up the level and summon inarius's Revenge. if you have enough defense you can kill these easily. if not then you have to kite them and kill them 1 by 1. just remember to keep tp up all the time.
► THE BUTCHER
Summon Butcher and keep 2 summons allways up. when pentagram appears stop summoning and wait till he walks to you. then just twisted claw him to death.
► THE BINDING OF BAAL
Divide and Conquer: Summon and go back. wiat till minion monsters come to you and kill them 1 by 1. then just twisted claw to boss.
► ASSAULT ON MOUNT ARREAT
Divide and Conquer: Summon and go back. wiat till minion monsters come to you and kill them 1 by 1. then just twisted claw to boss.
► AKARAT
You need high defense and some movement speed to do this also more dmg!. Summon and run circle around them to evade hammertime. then just harbinger over them. when you see minions dying just twisted claw to akarat. This is not easy for wolf witouth dmg so dont do this 1st.
► LORD ALDRIC JITAN
Divide and Conquer: Summon him to enterance of halls of pain go back. Wait till minion monsters come to you. then just kill them 1 by 1. when you see fortress and guard towers leave to town or go outside of the hallway they are in to not get hit by arrows.
► JUDGMENT DAY
keep your precast staff equipped and summon. then take some distance and start summoning minions over them. when you see inarius or malthael to spawn just turn to wolf and twisted claw him to death. then take the charm and go out of the game. make new game and summon them again. same thing except now you wait until both of them are summoned. and kill them 1 after another. but please know this. as wolf this is kinda hard so dont do this 1st ! you need around 200k defense and 10k hp.
► KURAST 3000 BA
Just go there and harbinger over orbs and twisted claw them to death. i needed 170k defense and 7,5k life to do this.
► ISLAND OF THE SUNLESS SEA
Kill Malic’s messenger and go to town. wait about 5 seconds so blast waves end summon your army of summons before going in. then go back in and harbinger to malic and twisted claw him to death. now want to kill lucion. there is 2 things you can do. either just harbinger to him and twisted claw him. this will be risky since if you die. you cant get your body. but if you wanna be more safe then just clear the level slowly and kill lucion when he has less monsters around him.
► KHALIMGRAD
Nothing special here. watch out for punishers. kill floating Avatars when minion dies near them. twisted claw is your friend once again
► TRAN ATHULUA
You need around 100k defense and over 8k life to go here. also 86 fhr breakpoint helps out. just usual harbinger and kill everything. twisted claw to amazons. watch out for Arrowsiders tho. they will hurt if they hit you over your dodge, avoid and defense.
► QUOV TSIN
Either Spec to Rain of fire or then get bow + 100% open wounds. take over 400 resistances and damage reduction to jewelry. Shoot him as many times with rain of fire / bow until he either teles near you or casts bone spear nova. if spears from the nova hit you they kill you 1 shot. avoid them at any cost! if you die to quov tzin he heals about 10%. keep doing this until he dies. took me about 20 minutes with rain of fire.

Patch notes to wolf druid:
Patch 1.3:
MOTW: base duration increased to 60 seconds, up from 20. No longer affected by buff duration
WEREWOLF FORM: now gives 30% projectile avoid instead of 40% melee dodge
MANA PULSE: changed the way the skill regenerates mana
instead of providing mana per attack the regeneration effect will now linger for 2 seconds
essentially this means you have infinite mana for 2s after each mana pulse, and then it begins degenerating from full
SYMBIOSIS: recasting this skill while it's active will now refresh the duration, instead of toggling the effect. Spell damage bonus increased by 25%
Whole guide and it's content has been updated to 1.3 these has also been tested in Single player so they work.
Basically what 1.3 patch means for the wolf is following:
- There is no more need for any mana regen or mana on striking since mana pulse keeps you full mana allways.
- You can more easily kill ubers now since you dont have mana issues.
- Leveling is easier since you dont need void RW neccesarely or any other mana based items.
- You dont need to cap 330 fhr anymore to be able to go fauzt with 280 breakpoint. you only need 295%.
- You dont need as high defense anymore. 150k is enough with projectile dodge change. you need either elvensong or fairie fire to buff it up tho!
TLDR: Wolf dudu works well again! WOHOOO!

WEREWOLF: Mana degen can no longer be reversed by equipping jewellery with mana regen. Melee dodge reduced to 40%
MANA PULSE: weapon damage increased to 125%. Mana recovery per attack increased by 50%
HARBINGER: weapon damage increased by 11%
TWISTED CLAW: weapon damage increased by 50%, 25% more hits per second, bonus cold damage increased by 20%
SYMBIOSIS:
New Black Road Challenge reward skill
A buff skill which adds bonuses to life regeneration, avoidance and cold & lightning spell damage
Stat bonus depends on points invested in other Druid skills and requires 4 points to apply at 100% value

There rly didnt change much regarding this build. this still works and they made gearing easier in leveling since you can now get more arcane crystals per boss kill. also mana regen glitch still works also.
