Having tested this Unveiling Eye build on Non Ladder I can confirm it does outperform the SSU setup in damage, and all the extra EF gives lots of room to add more Vit. I'm not even using full Hidden Craft setup yet, still henchman gloves/belt, but damage is 37-48k with 31K HP. My old SSU setup only...

If you use a bunch of honorifics and MO with energy factor, fire spell dmg, etc. and quiet crafted body armor and helm you can get way more vitality and damage than with the set. I recommend your weapon be an honorific crystal sword and MO it with attack rating and +life/mana on hit. Doing that basically solves any sustain issues.
