I haven't played median for a bit so forgive my ignorance. Do we still want rainbow gems in our weapon? I remember they used to add crushing damage, which I understand is good for this build, but now they do innate elemental damage, which doesn't seem to do anything. I'm having some bad luck finding a crown shield. I was wondering what gives the crown shield the edge over other paladin shields?

Edit: this is for the mid game ornate craft.
