Curious what the drop rate for these are. it's something suggested relatively early for trap sins weapon runewords. but i've done several full runthroughs of all 4 spots in both normal and NM and not much luck (killing those spots in hell atm might be rather difficult given lvl 114 and not much dmg ...

ya i'm really liking it for rushing nilathak . . . . it's so crowded down there, it does obsurd dmg. . . i only swap to carnage for the vipers knockback and to kill nihl in like 2 seconds.

i guess what has me put off on melee necro atm is the lack of AoE. carnage is such a small area, and you only wanna put 1 point into parasite. so it has very few targets. and lacking a quick gapclose or teleport as well (before you can get the 130 charm, as Angel of Death is excruciatingly slow . . ...

i seem to see xbow being what people use to kill a lot of stuff with, at least some of the video's i've seen of it look promising.

the one thing that has me offput about it, is the 80% magic dmg conversion, which kind of crushes life leech (and likely the intent)

is xbow a decent option starting at lvl 40? when you can spam farm mephy for a full TU set? or best to wait till later.

More fragile in hell but totem nec is still great for leveling. I did compare about summon and totem who is faster for leveling. But well not really needed. Totem is almost shit for some early ubers tho and really frustrating later if you dont make good positions. ya i'd expect to spec out of totem...
