They promise classic-style gameplay with more action, more monsters, less horror. So this could be real doom remake.

I dont wanna be a dickhead but Doom was famous because of horror/gore and devil-ish looking monsters and that "less horror" will only discredit this release of Doom.

I have really big hope that it will be at least 1/3 of the acctual Q3 gameplay (movement/action/overall "speed" of the game) all the rest doesn't really matter, it can look like minecraft but from what i've seen on trilers it will be so painfully static gameplay ;/

BTW IMO DooM 3 is a game for just one walkthru while first 4 parts and their WADs can be done again and again.

What you say is very true. I did play Doom 2 to death, and had just about every WAD, back when you have to get them from BBoards because there was no internet, at least not like today, lol! Barney mod, Raven mod omg that was great, etc. I get where you're going with this, however I felt the overall feel of Doom 3 was outstanding as a horror game, but I also agree D3 was a one time walk-through, even with mods, it didn't have much replay value. Well, I hope the SP campaign is more like D3 and multi is more like d2.

Hmm... what if SP campaign in new DooM will be like combined D3 horror-style with D2 shoot'em'all style?
