But don't you still need to wear a shield to have any "base block" that can actually be increased by the sword? I think he wants to off-hand the sword with his Barb and block with the sword, basically.

i dont know. thats also why i need to know where i can see my block%. Tho Gladiator's Dominance gives "7%base chance to block" which seems that i can dual wield throwing axe + that sword. I'm curious how much block will i have with that 7% base + lot of dex + this sword

Okay, here's what's up:
Image

So you need a shield with the Eviscerator to have the ability block.
Thats why i didn't see any block% number under defense when i checked first

Can someone give me a breakdown of how skysiege exactly works/how the damage is calculated?

on the old forums i read:
Sky Siedge is a pounce on targeted monster where after you pounced on him you cast tantrum with not long duration and you cast time wave skill, it cast 3/2 timestrikes on all monsters on the screen ( one timestrike on each monster) that blow up and deal dmg after 1 sec. Treewarden was a good idea because got 50% slow that could be highter/ 4 fpa attack/ got access to tempest on striking and that with FoN as uberskills and huge str for high spell dmg bonus to it.

so i'm quite confused what exactly happens.

ingame the timewave is only on kill and it has a bunch of elemental damage.

the tooltipp doesnt seem to profit much from elemental damage ( hanabigami vs no quiver is almost no sheet increase so im assuming its just showing the melee teleport strike)

im currently playing an extreamly tanky mf melee sorc who i changed a bit to use the bow for funsies. it clears really well but i really wanna know how i increase its damage in the most efficient way. it seems to do mainly physical damage even with hanabi and all the ele damage on it. necro bots dont die, hardliners instantly melt.
