My character disappeared

I had a barb at like lvl 106 and decided it's finally time to sort out my stash and start to mule my items. Since I wasn't sure if multiclienting for muling is allowed here I asked in chat beforehand and got several people telling me it's fine.
So I went ahead and made a few new characters and started muling some items, but after i was done and decided to log out of my main barb aswell the game told me that I got disconnected from battlenet. After logging back in again I could find neither: My highlvl barb character nor my first mule I made that had most of my runes.
Is there a common bug that tends to hides characters or something? Is there a way for me to get my character back? I would highly apreciate some help if thats possible and thank you for your time.

I managed to fix this issue myself. Apparently the characters were still there, but i just wasnt able to scroll down in my character list to access them by whatever means. So instead I deleted some other mule characters instead though I'm sure that the fact that I'm unable to scroll down past the initial first 8 characters in the list is a problem i need to fix for myself in the future.
