Ice Lance skill in version 2.2.0 changelog:

Increases and reductions to weapon physical damage now count as cold spell damage for this skill

Can you please explain: what is weapon physical damage increase and reduction?
Flat TTAD? Flat physical dam reduction (MO on armulets)? Physical resist?

It refers to the affix: "Enhanced Weapon damage"

but only from buffs and the affix itself counts towards it. The EWD stat from Weapons based on the scaling stat - as well %str and %dex from items like

Basically the base damage of the spell is lowered but cold spell damage and EWD are now added as effective cold spell damage for that skill.
Rest of it scales like any other ordinary cold spell.

I've just tried Chillstring & Coldhunger & Cryo Beam -quiver today. Cryo Beam's freezing is the best support for Ice Lance, since Ice Lance projectile need to accelerate.

I specced to focus on cold spells procs.
- Get some fire pierce because it'd be added as cold pierce, thanks to Hunter tree.
- Get some % cold spell.
- Put a lot of attr points to energy.
- Invest to minion res to get the 750% EWD from the bear's passive.
- Use the ultimate skill that gives spell focus.

The result was somewhere okay ish, but it's not as strong as I expected.

@Mortimer_85 does the 750% added EWD count for Ice Lance? It seems not.

yes, it does, i test with Ice Lance oskill, skill damage increase when i put some points in Primal Bond.

Nice, already had the helmet, also have bag of tricks, and just found Chillstring.

The only thing I don't know is where to get split arrow from. Any tips? Just got my druid to lvl 115.

Ahhh, so I need a relic. Dang, I don't think I'll manage in that case. Werewolf is also nice for now. Maybe I'll find it eventually.
