Can fortress miss? And I think it does work on bosses just not sure. At any rate, all it does is make it so u dont need a stupid amount of attack rating to hit him. (Their defense is zero) this doesn't mean they take more damage from any sources.

On attack means when you actually swing your weapon, so you get 30 life from the actual melee swing, anything after that would be "on striking".

No, like I said, on attack is on an actual melee swing of your weapon. So, quills from quillstorm for instance will not trigger any on attack modifier.

Is life % stolen per hit good worth trying to get on gear for A5 merc? i rolled a helm with max (10%) but I dont really understand how it works

You need to reinstall D2. Open multiplayer. Reinstall LoD. Open multiplayer. Then reinstall median and u should be good.

It's most likely a patch issue. If this doesn't resolve it she's a mystery.

Now Diablo 2 LoD isn't even connecting to multiplayer.. it all worked the day before sigma.. Where is best to install d2 and why does the launcher choose it's own install path now? (just curious)

It always chooses ur main drive/program files/D2. Just make sure this 2nd instance of D2 ur installing isn't trying to Install in the same place as your other instance of D2. I would put them on separate drives if u have another one.

How do I make enahnced runewords? E.G. 6 sox Weapon : 4 Jewels -> Rune -> Xis rune?
