You don't even need more than 20k voj to farm Duncraig at sub 2-4 minute relatively full completion excluding Necromorbs. You can even start doing it at 10k once you understand the bare minimum required to not get yourself killed: proper movement (WALK around mobs not into them) + maxed blessed life + bear stance + rapture + capped resists + rings/ammy have flat dr

I cannot stress how important your movement in this area is. Do not run into the mobs. Do not backtrack or you get hit by barrels.

Isn't 100k over the damage cap for a single damage type anyway? I thought you could only do a max of 65025 per damage type per frame, as hard coded by D2 engine...
I could be wrong.

And UMP can farm Duncraig with ease. Tank multiple barrels and not even notice the damage... rofl.

Was expanded in m17. Also cap was 86k iirc.

Cheers Chuck.

That guide is terrible tbh, as you know. I'll use my own knowledge/intuition.

I do have a high roll skin, which is why I'm using it, and the scepter has good base damage and mad EWD (4*clvl). I'm playing this like facebreaker build in PoE (created by Laz ofc), where you have such high damage scaling (thousands of EWD%) that every point of base damage gets multiplied by crazy amounts (hence helepolis over titan's burden).

I'm a little confused about how charged strike works. I don't know ND (next delay) stuff. If every bolt hits the original target, am I doing X times 100% (WDM for charged strike) or does next delay mean it only hits the initial target for same damage regardless of number of bolts?

Also, I found an eth Lancea, so if I drop the scepter/chest combo I'll try this.

My bad, I thought it was 2 bytes (255*255).

IIRC Charged Strike has no ND, so you would be doing x times dmg.

seen many people report charged strike isn't as crazy as it was in vanilla d2, possibly because the bolts don't all hit initial target and spread outward from there, otherwise charged bolt would probably be the top boss killer in the game. its still surprisngly decent for farming. seen melee sorc and melee zon use it well

Im pretty sure that bladestorm and hammer are superior for aoe clearing, but i can see them using charged strike as a bosskiller skill.

minion damage is for your minion's physical damage (in the event of necro knights, its physical damage converted, but that's written on the skill too)
