I am getting the below when trying to launch D2 Stats:

It's been a while since I used this. I have the files in the Diablo II folder and I am running it as admin.

Hi,

Just started playing Median XL the other day, and D2Stats is wonderful. I mainly use it for item filtering.

However, there seem to be a long standing issue with sounds not playing under Wine. I just created a pull request which solves this issue. The solution is pretty simple; play wav-files instead of mp3-files.

I've tried everything I can think of. I'm getting the same error when trying to run D2Stats. "Failed too many times in a row". The log file says:

[UpdateDllHandles] Couldn't retrieve dll addresses. (error: 0; extended: 0)

I have tried the following:

1. Run as administrator
2. Uninstalled and reinstalled vc_redist.x86
3. Added the entire D2Stats folder as an exclusion in my Anti-virus.
4. Disabled my anti-virus entirely.

I'm not sure what else I can try. Anybody else have an idea why this isn't working? This used to work fine when I played in previous seasons but when I returned after a break it doesn't seem to function any longer.

Do you have the dropfilter.dll with it?
