Install into d2 folder

Run & play from the newly created desktop shortcut

Well, I did it like this:

1. Downloaded Diablo 2 and LOD installers from battle.net.
2. Installed Diablo 2 and LOD.
3. Downloaded launcher (0.2.7)
4. Opened launcher and clicked "install".
5. After that the "install" button changed into "play" button. You're ready to go from there.

Alright tried Launcher 2.6 first. It updated. Tried to create a character --> error message that I couldn't even read.
The I tried 2.7. I only had to install, no update required. Tried to create a character--> again the same problem.

I don't even get into the game. RN I'm downloading the mpq from moddb. I hope that that one works.

Uninstall any previous median version or launcher

Delete patch_d2.mpq in your d2 folder

Get the new launcher (0.2.7.0)

Install and update

If you crash you probably didn't install the new launcher and are using the old one (MXL_Setup_v0.2.6.0), and/or didn't delete patch_d2.mpq.
