Full dex builds can only wear nicest armor very late into the game.
And very late into the game, full strength build have no AR problem...
Full strength:
-Wear (almost) anything you want and need, except some shields (which you might not need) >> this mean absurd defense very early on, 5% to get it is very achievable
-Superb damage
-Some amazing weapons that dex build can never dream of wearing.
-There are many methods to get easy AR (roll to get 100% + lucky upgrade +100% + AR from some runewords >> easy 300% or so), late game, AR is a joke
Full dexterity:
-You can wear you dex - weapon, circlet and spiked shield. That's all, until you have farmed most charm >> very low defense >>big chance to get hit
-You get good AR, sure
-You get damage (2 handed) or block (shield), you CANT have BOTH
-Max block require huge invest and you need to have most end game gear ,so you can't enjoy that 95% of the game
Both builds have strengths and weaknesses. ATM, the game provide enough ways to overcome any. I don't see a good reason to change the system yet.
