So if you're gearing your summ necro, simply stack more minion damage, don't bother with spell pierce. Unless you can get an oskill that lowers it by significant fraction (such as screaming eagle)

its not. based where the eyes (on the wall) are you can tell which path nilhatak is. i used it back on d2lod to farm nilhatak faster but i dont remember how exatcly it was. there are only a few different maps on that level and by the eyes you can tell which path you have to go.
