Rainbow Storm says it gets damage from F/L/C spell damage (and reduces from Poison spell damage); what exactly does this mean? Does this mean that damage from skills contributes, or only "+X% to [F/L/C] spell damage"? That is, if my sorc has, say, Flamefront that deals 200-300 fire damage, and Frigid Sphere that deals 100-200 damage, does that mean Rainbow Storm gets 300-500 damage from those (or a function thereof)? Or only, say, "+10% fire spell damage" on boots? If the former, does oskill elemental damage also contribute?

Does "innate elemental damage" factor into it?

only the stat "+% to F/C/L spell damage " raises the damage out put of Rainbow Storm.
+% to Poison Spell damage lowers it. The only other way to scale is with + skills.

Please use short question thread next time.

only:
+x% [fire/lightning/cold] spell damage, (factor of 1)
+x% spell damage, (factor of 2 because you get a factor of 3, one from each element [see above] and a factor of -1 for poison [see below])
+x% poison spell damage (negative scaling, factor of -1)

and + all skills ofcourse. Nothing else.
