You don't need the rarest items. This mod has always been about skill, not that you have dozens of UMO's, Tyraels or Azure in stash. If you can't beat the game without just quit or set your preferred point a bit lower when to stop with the build.

Both MP and SP got the same drop rates now. Stop crying please.
Maybe that's what he's crying about? On SP you have to farm a lot more to get the items you need, while on MP you can start buying some BIS items on day 1 or 2 of the ladder and even SSSUs in a week. More drops make the game more exciting for the people who farm, but on MP this also leads to faster progression of everyone and faster price drops which can cause the ladder to get stale sooner (which happens pretty quickly anyways). I don't play SP, because I don't like the idea of endlessly farming the same zones to obtain items that I would want to test. For some people playing MP is not an option, so this does affect them negatively. Overall this change makes no sense to me, but it also depends on how significant the drop differences are.
