is there any way to deal with poison?

or are we meant to just eat it to 1hp, then TP and talk to an npc?

because PLR and PR seem not to do a whole lot, and getting poisoned basically just means wasting a potion or running home real quick to heal at an NPC

If poison damage is too big of a threat for you:

Raise max pos. res
Raise pos. duration reduction

There are various items/skills/charms/gems for these effects.

I don't get what's pointless about poison? It's not even that hard to deal with. First post on the thread summed it up pretty well.

To try and answer OP’s question:

> Boosting Poison Res (especially Max Poison Res)
> Adding Poison Length Reduction (remember, there are penalties to PLR in Nightmare and Hell just like with Res)
> More Life (for obvious reasons)
> Life Regen and/or Life sustain (these work as a direct counter to Poison’s Life degeneration. High enough values of either, or a combination of both, can often counter the Life drain from most regular Poison attacks)
> Defensive mods such as Avoid (so you don’t get poisoned in the first place)
