I'm a Blood-Fire Amazon so spend most my time behind my fire elementals and merc.

I'm currently using a Fighter Mage (Act 2), but he's kinda useless ( though to be fair I haven't decked him out completely ).

Before committing to building up one I wanted to ask for advice what you guys would consider using in my situation.

I've thought about using :

Shapeshift (Act 2): Tho the hierling guide kinda threw me off that choice talking about how nerfed he was
Blood Mage (Act 3): The healing / spell damage ring seems interesting specially sense I have my fire eles already as good tanks

Any advice would be appreciated.

Best Regards,

Stoop

No merc is best, in scosglen and labs they all just die, i would use a5 if you wanna farm fauzt for his buff other than that no point in bothering.

If I was in ur situation, I would consider a tanky option to keep myself more safe as a bloodzon than getting some extra baby damage from mercs, in Dunc/Fauzt/Scos.

Trust me u r not tanky enough or as tanky as u thought even with ur fire eles if u r farming fast enough, especially in early/mid game (before lvl 145 with endgame blood-fire zon gear).

If in labs in late game, no need to bother with them.
