The new launcher installed a new copy of MXL in my C drive, with no way to select a default install directory, nor locate my existing one. (It sounds like it was able to locate my existing dir for the purposes of copying base game files or something, but it didn't use that as the install dir).
As someone who separates OS drive from game drives to remain organized, this is annoying. I get that it's easier to support, but for users anywhere past tech illiterate, it's an important feature to be able to select where my installs go. I feel like this has been basic functionality of any installer for 30 years. Maybe it's easier to support the subset of players who can't figure it out, but there should be an option for other users to set up as they like, even if you bury the option in a menu or config file somewhere.
