is decent, before you start getting lot of enhanced weapon damage, so you benefit more from having high base phys.
8% sor proc @6fpa is one "free' sor every 3s, and wsm is -20, so it is even easier to cap max speed than with balanced axe. You get 500 ele damage too. Just can't pick heart of stone, so that elemental damage isn't cancelled. But this way you get sor proc, before you can even put points in tectonics @ level 110.

Balanced axe works, its fast, damage is decent, but thats about what it has going for it. Labrys has better single target through sor, since attack speed doesn't matter for self casting sor.

6% max life aura? Used to be lot more, now it isn't that great anymore.

Meanwhile I'm doing a run, trying to go 1h+shield.
On the way to ~120 it doesn't seem to matter that much. We don't care about tectonic proc because we don't have it yet, and then thers a choice being faster with low base damage, or bit slower with high. I used

I think SoR is just broken, not sure if it always has been. Try it on a target dummy, it doesn’t do nearly as much physical dmg as it should. The magic dmg bonus seems to be behaving correctly but it seems like it’s doing ~50% of the physical dmg it should.

When i tried it, adding TTAD actually lowers my damage on target dummy with sor (just using regular sor every 2s), both physical and magic damage are lower by 30-40%.

It doesn't, it just reduces your average because TTAD is counted as a second hit

What's the best base to craft that rune word?
