Introduction:
This variant focuses more on dealing damage rather than on defenses, relies on Parasite with wdm procs for AoE damage while farming and on Carnage to deal lots of Single-Target damage, Deathward and Deathlord provide lots of defense alongside a bit of Avoid, you'll also look badass af now that you get to see your scythe with Deathlord morph.



Pros
Good Single-Target damage.
Decent Def and Avoid.
High HP.
Has a Physical Damage Debuff.
Aesthetics.
No issues with most ubers.

Cons
Relies on gear to get Physical Resistance compared to other melee builds.
Requires some investment to truly shine.
Not the fastest farmer.

Skills:
Max: Embalming, Deathward, Rathma's Chosen.
1 to 7-Points: Carnage (Depending where you're farming).
1 to 9-Points: Talon's Hold (Aim for 25 Slow for Ubers/Bosses, otherwise 1-Point).
0 or 1-Point: Nightwalker (For Ubers with Poison Damage).
1-Point: Graveyard.
1 to Max: Parasite (Don't need it for doing certain ubers that don't require AoE damage).
1 to Max: Deathlord (Make sure the Defense is Caped, also keep in mind Death Pact gives defense for each point in it).
Rest: Dragonfire Oil or Death pact (Dragonfire Oil gives more damage, Death pact will provide extra survivability in the form of more physical damage for leech and defense).
OPTIONAL 1-Point: Pestilence (if you want a more active gameplay).



Gameplay:
Same as mid-game except you now buff with Path of Flames if using
Nero
and you can use Edyrems to use Bane.

The breakpoints are updated in the speedcalculator so you might want to edit those parts.

For the skill builds, im really confused why you didnt use Dragonfire Oil, and how does this build deals any damage without it.
Same goes for why you didnt put 1 point into graveyard since it deals a good amount of poison damage and 1 point is more than enough.

I played old melee necro for a LONG time, and didnt really had time to try revorked melee necro so can you please further explain your skill choices?

Also an uber section would be fantastic for newcomers.

Don't think Dragonfire Oil is worth the points specially if you plan on using parasite, you'll deal plenty of physical damage without it, just not enough skill points to spare unless you wish to lose a lot of defense or parasite targets, same applies for graveyard, 1 pt is completely ok just like going for 1 pt in pestilence i just don't find it worth the points imo, pre-rework i used to run 8 points too, i'll add as a optional 1-pointer anyways :) .

If i calculated correctly in 126 level, if you have all the charms up to that point, you have 50 points to spend between deathlord-parasite-dragonfire. I thought i would max dragonfire and parasite and leave deathlord as 1. I dont know how much defense you lose by doing that and i actually started playing it and i would be around 110 in 24 hours so i can share some of my results as well :)

I just couldnt understnad why you wouldnt max dragonfire oil since its free damage. I get it you have a lot to smax and not enough points but i think some passives can be sacrified to get that juicy fire damage.

Also you didnt mentioned melee necro set anywhere. Is there a particular reason for that? You find the set useless among other options or what?

You lose A LOT of defense if you leave deathlord at 1 point, if you're doing ubers going for dragonfire oil over parasite would make sense i'll be sure to add it in the end game section after i test some more in 1.1.

Yea, i find the melee set to be quite lackluster, marchosia's 2 piece is much better.

Few more questions, why do you even put points into nightwalker? For poison length reduction?

Also rare marrow staves can have up to +12 necro skills, which can be used in early and mid game as a prebuff weapon.

Also it would be better if you name some unique amulet/ring alternatives, since getting a perticular one is pretty difficult thing to do, especially for newcomers.

For rings; Ring of truth, empriyan bands, Ripstar
For amulets: Athulua's Wrath, Angel heart
etc

Also for mo section, Larzuk's Round Shot is a great umo for all str stacking builds and why you dont use tcd mo's in armours? 1-2 Damage mo is pretty garbage and fhr is covered with jewels so i see no point wasting mo on them. Tcd should be pretty good since deathlord morph gives flat defense and it will get multiplied with tcd as well.

And i think set weapon is pretty crucial in late game boss fights because it has 20-25 slow. Astro, kab, witch, uldy and fights like that requires max slow and its a decent weapon.

Are you sure?
i tried out in my old char. you get 0 defense added for points in deathlord. (at 4k str)

You now get an additional bonus from points in the melee skilltree via death pact from it, but thats it. wouldnt you rather put these points into famine or something if you want the def?

in end game, deathlord points dont to anything!

Can you show a ss of your def (fully buffed) with 1 pt deathlord and one with max deathlord ?
In the early/mid game you still need it maxed for sure, maybe they just hid the defense cap from it instead of removing it.
