It's still an awesome helm but I wouldn't wet my pants over it.

I'm actually curious how is UHM nowadays? Some nerfs came last patch.

Ohms are recommended in certain places but wouldn't a Perfect Ruby work in armor and save the Ohms for non-armor pieces?

Is there any use for the following items with a UHM build? I found both of these today and wondering what can be done with them:

Both items are pretty bad. Carnage is a great skill, but without full str/dex investment (depending on weapon) dmg output will be horrible, and no vit means you'll have no defense AND no hp so squishy as hell. The same applies to Mad King Spine, and also the DS bonus (which does not translate 1x1 with superbeast spell dmg, it's way lower) does not compensate the very low base dmg. The only time I've seen the book of Kalen work is when paired with Azurewrath, but good luck finding one...

Yikes, ok good to know - thanks for the sense check. I thought they were cool items but not very useful then.

brings back memories. i tried that combo the moment uhm got a rework. of course, it doesnt work. the only other oskill build that somehow worked was

I'm using the set for this build right now but against bosses i have literally 0 mana because i lost all the mana on hit from the TU and a lot of life on hit. What do i do?

mana on attack mystic orbs, mana regen mystic orbs on rings + jewerly. enough attack rating to consistently beat boss defense. your melee hits need to actually connect to return any mana
