Sorry for my english, my school-english is almost forgotten. I don´t play any games in English for reason, just cause my german as an Austrian guy is much better ;)

I´m a complete MXL-Noob and I read you Guide.

I´m not yet familiar with Cube-Recipes and the whole Median-Stuff, but Trap-Assa works for me at least the first 40 Levels without any knowledge with items, gear-combination and so on

Thx to that guide, I messed up with my first self-created Barb.

Just to come to my point:
What are the most important things in the beginning playing that Trap-Assa?
Farming, skilling, or just play story?

I´m used to Guides telling me:
First 20 levels improve *insert skill*, put all in *insert-stat*
Level 30-40 play area xy, watch out that and that gear,
Level 40-50 play area ....

For me your guide is more for the experienced guys who know MXL well already.
For me it´s very hard :(

just as an FYI, an assassin is not the best idea for a first character. if you don't know how to gear it properly and understand the gameplay you will be squishy as hell and probably die a ton of times. trap is the safest assassin build, though

Trap sin is tankier than most other (non-sin) builds. You get a TON of free defensive stats:
-max res
-50% vit
-free healing when you are hit (with weapon physical damage)
-claw block which can block spells too and needs no investment
-decent amound of flat damage reduction

Combine these with 60% avoid and the fact that you dont need to invest any points in energy to do damage, like every other caster...

Well, almost in every guide someone is told, not to start with its guide:)
But I have to start with one character to farm a bit all the stuff and right now the trap assa works fine for me.

When you have a hint for me, which guide fits best or better for me as an Noob, tell me.

I did already check that after my Barb-Desaster. The Trap-Assa is in Tier 1, so very easy to play. So I don´t understand that intervention from Diaco ;-|

I just needed a character to start with for farming Runes, Gems and a bit equip.

Next chars I´m gonna try is a
    Hammerzon
    Summoner Barbarian
    Hawk Summoner Necro
    Summoner Paladin
    Cold Sorceress
(in that order)
But that doesn´t fit in this thread here :)

I think its because Assassin was weird breakpoints and the block ratio but I never played a sin on median past brother laz days.

So, I reached lvl 100 and now I got to adapt my equipment urgently!

Which sort of Helmet and Armor I should prefer for the runewords Mirage and Lily?
I mean for STR-Reason... Now I got about 100 STR and for equip T4-Helmet/Armor I need MUCH more..

you can make a honorific helm and use strength mystic orbs in order to be able to wear a better armor, like the light plate tiered unique. you could also use the corone t tiered unique as it provides a pretty decent str bonus, spell damage and +skills.

Which Assassin build is better for a fresh, untwinked character and a relatively noobish player, Claw or Trap?
I feel like trying an Assassin...

They're both good, ones a caster and ones a melee class. So it's up to you. Thing to know with assassin is you are a squishy starting class. So you need to stack vitality where our can for good life pool. Highly recommend
