Suggestion: D2stats notifications be added to ingame chat logs

Did this ever happen to you?

You're slapping things around in Fauztinville, or perhaps avoiding the mostly working bombs past the Duncraig waypoint, when suddenly a unique pops up for a moment from your D2stats but....oh no! A Treasure Goblin appears and as usual almost gets you killed because Treasure Goblin appears! Or, You have to use some op skill to save yourself and you don't have time to see what it was. But that notification....what was it?

Is it gone? You're probably too far away to easily run back and hope you're in the area to see the notification again. So you press M for the chat log, and wish it were there. So now you have to run around a quarter of the map looking for what might be either a super shiny SSSU or a TU4 you'd have ignored if you could have seen what it was.

So, how about, and i know this is work, adjust D2stats so that notifications appear in the chat logs

It was worked like you described before 2.10.3, after that it broke down. I sayed about this in bug topic - viewtopic.php?p=603350#p603350

D2Stats is a third party tool, and we don't guarantee it will be compatible with the mod, especially since a loot filter and notifier has been integrated as a core feature in the game. When we deployed 2.10.3, partial changes that are part of a bigger chat overhaul were pushed to fix a ui issue that previously affected the message log ui, and as a side effect, chat messages produced by D2stats do not show up in the message log. As I eventually move forward with the chat overhaul, D2Stats chat messages will most likely not work at all anymore, not just in the chat history.

It is up to D2stat's maintainers to address this issue, no special accommodations will be made on our side to ensure compatibility with a third party tool.

Not a big issue that d2stats doesn't appear in message log. At first i was upset, but after some time i move some items (set/unique) from d2stats to inGameFilter, though it takes more time.

But removing d2stats at all will hit hard. d2stats ability to use regular expressions and highlight items by desired affixes is super cool. Also txt format allows to edit filter easier, than clunky UI (PoE loot filter also has txt format)

It's more for convenience than anything else, while useful it's not essential. I figured it'd save some time, especially in multilayer where someone can come along behind you and pick up your loot and you'd never know what it was. If it gets fixed it gets fixed. The people who make the mod have had this long to fix it, it's probably not going to happen, i guess, but it doesn't hurt to remind them they're product has issues.
