I've been saving Abandoned shrines , they're pretty rare compared to the others, or it's just my RNG. I have about 6, and I have maybe 14+ of all the other shrines so I should be able to make some decent gear.
I saved up a bunch of signets of learning (30+ or so), is it easy to trade those on realm ( I am playing on realm BTW), or would it be better to just eat them?
So I've been saving sacred rares so I'm sure I have a bladed shield to try and make that abandoned craft shield.
So my best bet would be to stop playing in terror altogether and just do whatever I can in destruction, somewhere with high mob density, got any ideas?
Thanks again for being so responsive and making this guide, much respect!
Your lack of Abandoned Shrines is probably just RNG, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're not more rare than the others (they're incredibly popular). You should have enough to at least start crafting your shield. Also, make sure you're using a
Spiked Shield for crafting (or even a Bone Shield). Bladed Shields are only for Assassins.
As an aside, crafting is a pita. As long as your killspeed is decent with Khany, just keep using that instead of trying to craft a Warp Blade.
As far as trading prices go, it's hard to say what you can buy with sigs this late in the ladder, but if someone's got a Royal Circlet for trade, it couldn't hurt to ask if they'd accept sigs for it. As far as Akarat's Trek, you really don't need that until you're ready for Duncraig, which will be after you've farmed TA for sigs.
Speaking of which... Once your shield is made, if you wanted to try farming somewhere, try Dest TA with your merc and see how it goes. Since you don't need to worry about resists there, make sure all your gear is socketed with p-amethysts/Io Runes and your merc's gear is socketed with Lum Runes.
You could also try farming Level 6 of the Unformed Land for Fiery Essences and Runestones. All that matters there is killspeed and dodging ability, so you may be able to do that fine with the gear you have. Since defense won't matter there, you may want to use the Fire/Lightning spec listed in the end-game section for the life regen.
