A3 Mercs are probably better for ppl just starting out, though. Bloodmage is support-based and can instaheal the party with Gift of Inner Fire. Equip him with +Fire spell damage gear (TUs, Honorifics, Crafts). Abjurer uses Banish, which reduces enemy life. Equip him with +Lightning spell damage gear (TUs, Honorifics, Crafts)
