Maybe not. There are some interesting new SUs that look promising, plus the flat damage MOs that can be applied to armor. And the devs haven't killed Firedance (yet).

Hey there, I would assume the leveling part (until ubers) will probably be the same, not much changes there. How are you changing the late game build, now that bosses are immune to crushing blow? I am sorry to bother, but I simply am not that great at building ^^"

First of all, thanks for that guide. I have never played sorc before, and even if your guide is mooved to an old section, I keep reading it :)

I have followed your guide, I’m lvl 119 and haven’t any problem yet. Lvl 115 Uber’s are all dead, using the melee set with different suggestion you made, and it’s working very well !

Can’t wait to read your updated guide, feel free to ask if you need to try things in game :)

So far, yes, leveling has been pretty much the same. But I've made some minor changes to the skillplan and early game gear. For example, 1 pt Firedance is enough early on. And Blade Spirits don't seem as tough anymore, so I haven't been putting many points there b/c I've rarely been using them. As for gear, I made the following changes: Helm =

As far as later gear, I'm not sure yet. I'm just starting Hell now (I'm playing slowly so I can test things, and I'm rewriting the guide as I go). But for now, the plan is to stack Deadly Strike and flat Phys damage (looking lustfully at SSU Heavy Gloves). As you said, CB is useless against bosses, and we've lost our heavy-hitter in Akarat's Crucifix. That said, CB is still good for normal mobs, so I may end up recommending 2 gearsets (1 for farming and 1 for everything else).

Just started gearing for my melee sorc, but having problem finding Warp blade after they removed Griswold box. Am I just being unlucky, or is there another way of obtaining the blade now? Love the guide tho, it's really detailed and noob friendly :D

As far as Warp Blades, you can gamble them starting at clvl 17 (or maybe clvl 15). In the mean time, you can melee just fine using a Sorc Orb. Otherwise, you can stay a caster until you get a Warp Blade.

seems to be a good choice for early game now, its a bit of strength but TU ceremonial armor lost its Moon Queen passive has no phys resists. Thats what I used until I got the melee sorc set.

Btw, melee set still works great for most content! :yay: Level 122 and still doing great!
