I ended up playing fire cannonade but on zon

It allowed me to go blood zon without any of the downsides. I get 22k life and 12.5k cannonade tooltip. My total regen/s including vindicate is 2600. Once I hit 150 and can MO the rest of my gear it'll be over 3000/s.
Of course unlike you, I had to get a different weapon and MOs in order to get my mana to 10k, my mana regen high, attack frames for zon and my pierce high. But I'm at 195 pierce now and I absolutely love the build. Feels really safe, bossing and clearing are good.
