Short Questions Thread

Dear blytsz,

I did /p8 until the middle of terror, then continued /p1 because the progress was to slow. However I had T6 gear only (just started playing, didn't know much about crafting etc).

I am not able to put a stat point into 'War Spirit' on my lvl 120 amazon. Is something wrong? Do I have to complete any challenge?

I read somewhere that odd values of /players x are more optimal, but don't remember why. For exact value increases you can check docs.

You need to complete the Black Road challenge to unlock this skill.

War Spirit is Amazon's uberskill. You can unlock it by completing the Black Road Challenge

This is true, IIRC it's because NoDrop chance stays the same at even /players x values, and decreases at odd ones. So drop-wise /players 7 is equivalent to /players 8, but you'll still get more xp on /players 8

pl5-8 is fine for leveling purposes. I'd suggest you to switch it on Act II Sweres, Kurast City, Worldstone Keep or any other areas with a lot of elite mobs present at the same time.

As for drop rate, I'd really not be worried about this, because increasing it won't help you much. But if you want to farm for arcane crystals, for example, you can switch to pl5-8 in some areas for better drop.

Actually, many caster builds are capable at playing all the time on pl8, while melee builds need survavibility and killspeed which is often achieved only after having TU6 gear.

Oh, yeah, I guess it would have been relevant to mention it was for FARMING. My bad!

I usually do p3 for Dunc/Faunt etc. Was just wondering if it would be worth it to try higher.

If you plan to farm Dunc or Faunt, go at pl1 all the time. You'll save both time and nerves. Drop rate on pl3 is almost the same as on pl1, but monsters have bigger hp - thus more time to finish farming. So, it's plain useless

The steps for more drops are players 3, players 5 and players 7.

players 8 and players 7 have the same drop rates, players 6 and 5, players 4 and 3, and players 2 and 1. Note that the amount of Experience gained and monsters' Hit Points are nonetheless different for each player setting

shall i go for arrowsider or locust hive ( dont hve bag of trick yet)
also is kraken stance crafted helm a must ( using lilith legion atm but lacking of rainbow dmg)

an other question im going to lvl him 121 wich build is better for cow since tantrum is more a one target killer would be too slow. ww ( windform) barb ? wat weapon to use lmk plz

is there a way to disable notifications of friends joining and leaving games on tsw? drives me crazy..
