first of all , i must say that i intend to compile the holy melee paladins builds here from the previous patch into a single "all in one " miniguide , and that will happen soon , probably today or tomorrow , as i still need to do a bit more testing on end game . the early-mid game will be updated this evening .
now , to come back at your issue regarding Legion Commander , make sure your gear is
at least full t6 uniques or better runewords/crafts . smax your resistances by placing perfect gems in all sockets except the weapon/runewords if you use any . aim for 81/83% to each element . get Empyrean band rings instead of rings of truth for more life and stats .
remove the points from rapture (he won't be using that anymore) and let it as 1-pointer . smax dragonheart with those points .
how to play : once you got to terror you can stop running , as you will get hit often enough to retaliate with no problem .
use vindicate on the pack you wish to fight , jump on it with the 1-pointer colosseum , spam retaliate -> once that pack is dead , jump again with colosseum to another pack , smash it with retaliate . use vindicate again after every 2-3 packs killed to have that extra damage and regeneration on all the time.
always have the opponents debuffed by colosseum and don't fight to many at a time untill you get to equip godlike gear .

Tips for increasing damage?
you need to farm fauztinville a few times to get those shrines .also , the weapon RW must be created in a sacred bow in order to deal more damage . since you probably can't access a Taha or Sha'ad rune yet for the weapon , it's not much you can do to boost your killspeed . try crafting a bow untill then (weird craft) with high +max damage and some heavy proc .
