The only Marrow Staff i could manage to get was one from anya T1 currently its magic... somehow i cant upgrade it to rare with the current recipes?
Magic item + oil of enchantment + rune or i also tried + jewel
shrining is also not working probably because its not sacred?
please guys enlight me in my stupidity!
regards Phieck
Shrines only work on Sacred Rare items, so yes you cant shrine a T1. I dont believe the recipe works anymore to go from blue to yellow. If you come across a blue Sacred Marrow Staff in the future, what you could do is use the recipe to turn it white, then use the imbue quest from Charsi, and then shrine it for a sacred crafted Marrow Staff.
thanks for the quick answer! anyway is it possible to upgrade tiers on magics/rares as well? cause mines is as stated T1 and i think going back to white is also not possible anymore? :/
If im understanding right, you could always upgrade that T1 Magic Marrow staff into the unique version using the Cube Recipe.
Reroll any Item to Unique
This powerful recipe uses the reagents obtained by disenchanting other uniques to turn any tiered item of your choosing into a unique. But choose wisely, because the crystals are precious and costly to replace.
Any non-sacred item + Oil of Enhancement + Arcane Crystal x2 → reroll item as unique
Once you do that, if you want to upgrade a Tiered Unique, try this recipe.
Uptier Recipe (improved for uniques)
This recipe is an improved version of the generic uptier recipe. Not only is the item upgraded to the next higher tier, but the modifiers are replaced with those of the higher tier version of the unique. This is the preferred way to uptier uniques.
Unique non-sacred weapon/armor + Arcane Crystal + rune → reroll as next higher tier
You can also use this recipe on non uniques I believe, just take out the rune from the recipe.
