Short Questions Thread

What is Brimstone proc and is it any good? I've never used it before but rolled it on a crafted throwing axe and am trying to figure out if it'll be good on my throw barb. Thanks.

What's likely t5o be the best merc for a thrower barb?

1) Which stance should I use, been using wolf stance but i dont think the atk speed part of it affects my Overkill skill speed.
2) Which uber skill should I use, started with Gladiators Dominance but just now looking at how much the Nephalem Spirit would buff?
3) Is atk speed capped at some %?

Kraken stance is best (crafted barbarian helm). Dominance is very good though I haven;t tried neph weapons myself.

Attack speed yes. Theres a speed calculator tool in game:tools at the top of the page. It runs off Java and you input your IAS and it shows you the BP's and what you ened to get there (Maxing speed is easy as pie).

im getting the letters cycling in the top left corner with glide. im using integrated graphics, is there any way to fix?

Don't use gladiators dominance as soon as you hit 90. It's not worth speccing into until you have more charms and are able to obtain enough dexterity to get max block. Use runemaster until you've gathered charms to make dominance worth utilizing.

Kraken and wolf stance are best in combination with eachother.

Is max block a good goal even with the depreciation due to high avoid? I've been undecided on whether to use dex for block, str for damage or vita for life.

I'm trying to do the Lvl 1 challenge and when I killed the twin seas pirate he didn't drop the sunstone. Is this a bug or did they remove it?

You need to kill the first pirate inside the entrance of Tran Athulua, as it's always been. It's now called Elemental Prism, not sunstone of elements.

Its very good since barb also gets defense from gear and Spirit Guide. It should only take about 2.3k dex or something endgame to reach as well, which is fairly tolerable with charms and Mountain King.

I'd get the dex for max block, str for gear, then full vit the rest. Damage will come from Kraken and Crushing Blow, and throwbarb skills have crazy high %WDM on them compared to other skills. Stampede is like 110% I think?

On the subject of Throw-Barb, what kinda chest-armor should I use for him early on?
