Greetings -- Median XL 2017 is my first Median experience and it's AWESOME so far! So, first off, THANK YOU!

I've been farming the first part of Act 1 like crazy. The Blood Raven, Den of Evil, and now Tristram over and over using Griswolds Treasure. Kill, loot, restart game, rinse, repeat.

Any reason why I shouldn't keep doing this for killer loot? Besides progressing, just wondering if many people farm this way.

people usually farm the giftboxes early to get gear to get through to a3. Then they farm mephisto for crystals to upgrade the gear that they need. After that it nightmare time. :)

Copy that.

Leveling on tristam works until 18,19 (or so, you will know it when your lvlexp shrinks). Just make sure u get all your preferred uniques from griswold (fastest way) and craft some nice runewords for you lady's Toybow Runeword "Banshee" (If you haven't found anything better when she hits lvl 13)
If you are keen on rushing andy over and over again in a relatively okayish time (assa can blink for example) you can farm her for some nice juicy unique's to craft some cristals.

Personally, I typically do Horadric Malus Runs, then go to kill Andariel, and as I progress through Hatred, kill the other act bosses for the guaranteed unique drops they have. The Malus can be salvaged for arcane crystals if you do not turn it in; so can the rest of the uniques that drop from bosses. It's a damn good way to get the arcane crystals you need to make the uniques you greatly covet. That, and up-tier your gear. Once you progress into terror, or can kick-ass easily enough; Tran Athulua runs are rather good things to do for your arcane crystal farming.
