My guess would be yes because with bend the shadows, you're teleporting onto a target minion, meaning there's already a target for the monsters to attack at that spot, whereas Jitan's Gate, you teleport to a target spot and by the game's mechanics, you're there first and your minions follow.

So really, the difference lies within teleporting onto a target minion va teleporting yourself to a location.

Regardless, you shouldn't really teleport directly into a pack if you can help it since that will give your minions very limited time to move to take the hits and become the target for incoming damage.

Ahh, That makes sense. Did not think about the fact I use a minion to teleport. That is likely what is happening cause that minion would be the target first.

Is there a point where one should stop putting points into Flayers? Haven't seen an increase in stats granted by their aura in the past few points placed.

LH - I just read through the patch notes. If I understand ight, it looks like both the totems in this build got nerfed. Is it still viable?

Well, ok I shouldn't say viable cos that can mean it just about survives. Obviously it will be worse than previous patch with those nerfs - how much of a struggle will it be later might be better question.

It looks like sorc Poison got a boost (Cold worse with Abyss nerf though). Arcane got boost... wonder if Poison/Arcane works.

It's still viable. This guide is showing what it can do :D Everything in there right now is updated. It surely doesn't clear like it used to with one touch of a fireball exploding an entire mob, but its very doable.

Not sure about sorc chars though
