Not yet. Probably should though. Others have tried it and they say it works well.

Astro is just one of those Ubers I hate doing. Don't even want to write up strats for the last few Ubers I have left, let alone redo one I can't stand.

Okay @Solfege , Let me know what you think. I took *most* of your advice, still working on it. I will do another shot at Azmodan (tried for about an hour, it's ridiculous to me), and some other mid-game charms, that would probably help a great deal.

I used about 12 abandoned shrines and this is the best I could do so far. I'm not too familiar with what other modifiers that could roll so I guess let me know how I did?

I'll put the crafts up first, they're what I'm most concerned about for now. Do you think I should re-craft any of these? The gloves seemed amazing to me, if only they had +sorc skills! 19% dex on them from the shrines..

I'm really thinking about ditching the R/W warp blade and imbuing and just going for a crafted Warp Blade, I feel like that would really change things? What do you think?

And here is the other things, I spent a good amount of time on the base for the armor R/W, but I feel like a ceremonial armor would be best? I couldn't for find one for some reason so I just went with it. Witchhunter's Hood of course, but I'm working on just getting a Royal Circlet asap. Aaand a Doom amulet.. Oh almost forgot, I spent most of my arcane crystals crafting LoA jewels. So those are what's in the base of my RW, it originally had BS jewels I thought I had crafted ones in the last one :p.

I finished Destruction and killed Baal with this gear setup, so it's definitely an improvement! And your suggestion with A2 TA with the merc worked great, it's just sort of difficult to do but it's still manageable. I die a lot, the AI is not so great for mercs.. lol.. Still, pulled a bit of SU's so far (maybe 10-15). I do feel really squishy still though.

Thanks again Solfege for all the help. I really like the Melee sorc and am happy I didn't just go lightning/cold (although it is getting tempting as I pretty much have the full Elemental set.)

EDIT: Oh, one more thing, even if I have MAX resists, am I supposed to go for 90 resists (I believe that's the max?) during normal Destruction farming? so, adding gems to my gear instead of IO runes/ P Amethysts to get there?

If you're having trouble with the Azmodan strat as written, you can also try luring away as many Elites as you can from him before Blinking on top of him. It can buy you a few seconds of uninterrupted face-time with Azmodan before being swarmed. You can also try getting to one of the far corners of the room where Azmodan's immunity shield doesn't reach and kill some of the mobs there to thin their ranks. It never works for me, but maybe you'll have better luck.

As for your gear...

Crafts
Your Crafts are fine (some %DR on the shield would've been nice, but some things can't be helped). The +Skills mod doesn't really matter. Don't bother rerolling your Crafts just to get it. All you're really looking for atm is high %DEX and flat DEX to get your CtB up.

Weapon
IMO, Stormblast Sorc is kind of a min/max thing. You'll either kill things really fast or really slow, depending on what you're fighting. Whereas Bladestorm Sorc has a more consistent average kill speed.

Take Azmodan for example: A Bladestorm Sorc with a Balefire Craft can kill Azmodan before his AI even kicks in (rare, but possible). Bladestorm Sorc is also much better at dealing with the Elites once he's dead due to Bladestorm's scatter radius and higher damage potential with a Craft vs. with Khany. Also remember, enemies have much higher innate resistances to elemental damage than to Phys/M damage in Dest. There's also a much higher chance an enemy will be Lightning Immune rather than Phys/M Immune. That said, a Stormblast Sorc is going to kill non-Lightning-Immune single targets much faster than a Bladestorm Sorc (BPR or Lord of Pain in Yshari, for example), especially with good amounts of -ELR.

Ditching Khany for a Craft is up to you, but in the end, Khany will still be handy to have around for certain situations.

Body Armor
Obviously Ceremonial Armor would be the best base armor, but it seems as rare as Sacred Warp Blades (didn't see my first one drop until Yshari). Lamellar Armor is certainly better than a Gambeson though. Really, once your armor's defense is around 12k+, you should be fine. Besides, the higher your CtB, the less important defense becomes.

Amulet/Rings
I'm really sorry about this, but I completely forgot you were most likely using Stormblast instead of Bladestorm since you're using Khany, so you want Mythal (IDK why I even mentioned Doom; I never even use it myself). Fortunately, procs on rings/ammys aren't really that important for this build, so just keep what you have. If you switch from being a Stormblaster to a Bladestormer, Doom will be fine, but you'll eventually want to replace it with Banish.

Also, in case I didn't say it before, don't lose that Wyrd ring you have. Even if you find something better to replace it with, keep the Wyrd ring in your stash for later Ubers.

Resists
90% all res is only really necessary for specific things (Quov Tsin and Tal Rasha, for example). Once you get Azmodan's Heart, you shouldn't need to bother with perfect res gems anymore for general play. Just run with 80% all res until a specific situation calls for having 90% res to a specific element, then adjust your socket fillers accordingly. To use Azmodan again as an example, since his Pentagram attack only does Fire damage, you only need to really focus on Fire res for your fight against him. But for something like TA and Toraja, you don't need 90% elemental res, so you don't need to bother with socketing any of your gear with perfect res gems. Obviously though, you'll always want to be res-capped, regardless of what your max res is.

Hi guys, i know im goin' to ask something different from the topic, but i've never played a sorceress so i think that you can give me some general information. I can't find a specific topic for elemental or poison sorcerer, so sorry for this.

I started this season playing SP offline with Bowmazon, and i think i cant upgrade: i cant find a good bow, i got some uber charm but now i cant go further, and since i've played a lot with that bowmazon now i'm a bit tired of her. So i think that i should start a new char.
Since i have completed two different set for sorceress (Elemental Clash and Adria's Circle), i just want simply to ask if one of those two set are capable to farm some uberlevel in order to farm gear (even for my Bowmazon, which i hope someday to improve again someday). I dont need very specific tips (i will appreciate them ofc), it's just i fear that maybe im doing a new char and then find myself in a worser position than my bowmazon... i know that's somewhat silly but xD

Sorry for the offtopic, and thanks for any tips.

Hello! I'm new here.
I would like to ask why only 1 point on Bladestorm/Wraithsword? Why don'y you max them?

Basically, 2 reasons:
1. You don't have enough Skill Points to spare.
2. Any extra damage you'd get wouldn't be noticeable.

Maxed Moonstrike and maxed Baneblade already give you 1225%+ to Physical damage by end-game, so your best option for increasing damage at that point is finding gear with Flat Damage mods. Adding points into Bladestorm just converts Magic damage to Physical damage (the bonus Magic damage it gives is trivial). Besides, you can get that with Soft Points (i.e. points from +Skills/+Sorc skills on gear/Charms). Wraithsword is the same way. Soft Points will increase it's base Physical damage, so there's no need to add Base Points.
