Would make sense to have no desync on single player. I should have read it more, though, apparently the first percentage stays for velocity, but not attack rate.. it does seem like most things (spellcasting?) are covered by velocity?

For some things attack and spellcast speed are considered the same thing iirc. Not sure how it works on monsters exactly.

so... on sp this works just fine. if it didnt work i would definitely have noticed the desync. but supposedly on mp this might not actually take effect from the server side then and cause desync, did someone test if slow actually behaves like that on realm?

tbh i always thought that sp has a server aspect to it as well

Ok minmaxed build a bit more. About half of the map left :) and he heals once at start so 1 purify extra.
First, you need faster speeds so shield goes out, dual wield feels lot better with 7fpa casting.
Another thing is, you need to aggresively attack him, even at risk of killing totem, clear grupies with stormblast if totems arent up, and just try to attack him many times in between teleports. If you just hit and move, then he is stuck there for too long, open wounds runs out, and it actually feels worse than running without slow, he takes damage way too slow.
Whirlwind for movement and not getting stuck, also worth using, even at risk of killing totem (ww hits 1 enemy at time, so odds you hit totem in crowd are fairly low).
Magic resistance is must too, with dropping to 1 hp to each tremor otherwise, anything kills you, so definitely worth adding, mine was 50%.
It is still hard to do btw :)

what i dont get is sometimes he doesnt get slowed even under both effects quite as much, one from the weapon and one from the screaming eagle skill.
but other times he becomes really slow. wonder what determines that...

@aerial very nice. :D i always use ww either way so this is not new, i think your strategy is the only sensible solution to keep ow with the slow because you cant run away from him

lmao i bet with some luck you can kill him with less than 5 teleports :D

btw i noticed that sound helps a lot because most of the time you can hear laz shout before he throws totems. and then there is a delay between the shout and the totem, so its good to place to totem in a good spot sometimes when youre not directly close to him

I noticed that too.
I found that best way to get him slowed right away after spawn, is run behind corner, spam screaming eagle, before he even jumps, and then when he does, immediately hit him in melee. So he gets hit by delayed screaming eagle, and melee slow.
If you wait for him to melee hit, and then switch and eagle, often times I don't get the stacked slow effect.
And to get it right, it seems you need about 30s, before the old slow ends, so usually that happened around time where I get him to open space.

Check out this streak of laz spawning grupies instead of totems at spawn, almost half hp gone without moving (at time vid was made, i didn't use stormblast to clear, which would help greatly)



What is also interesting, you can use same combo vs other heroics, imagine getting one slowed this hard. Like for example unformed land summonning boss. Against him you dont need to worry about procs, so you can just use krys gloves for melee slow, use good damage weapon instead of void rw. On a good AH barb with pierce gear, I'm pretty sure you can kill him in one spot without even moving, you could smack him for 10s non stop without him casting anything.

ya screaming eagle first seems like the best stategy, mostly because it doesnt miss like melee attack and applies slow with certainty, and what happened in that vid is basically how he died in the screenshot as well, except that he kept using singularity in the room below the end spot

i did tzorun tsin like that actually, it was alright but he didnt get the ultra slow so he spawned plenty of statues still :(
