Summon minions ahead of you every 1/2-3/4 screen distance so that they get pounced on, not yourself and pack of minions. Once a clump of the Spirits jump onto the leading minion, just use Funeral Pyre or Boneyard to help clear the pack. Both skills will work really well in dispelling the entire mob, let alone your merc if you're using the merc setup from the Dr. Strangebuff summoner guide. If she uses arrowside or spore shot or something into the mob, it'll die quickly.

Necrobots are immune to physical damage. You need some element or magic damage. They deal high physical damage with the lasers.
