I admit that I didn't read any of this, but I'm wondering where I can find the "View Posts Since Last Visit" button? That was honestly the most important button to me, and I find when I have to browse the forums to see what was posted, I just don't bother searching through them at all. Is it somewhere and I just didn't see it, or perhaps its yet to be included, or is it just disabled?

maybe make links like these (internal links):
http://forum.median-xl.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=112

instead of being displayed like this:
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=112

make them fetch the forum section & thread title and display them instead? something like this:
General » The Forum » Planned Features

either the whole section/subsection/thread tree
or just the subsection and thread
or just the thread name

it could be implemented either be a display feature, jq, or simply by replacing the bare links with thread names when you submit a post. the first one is probably preferable.

later on we could make it an optional feature that can be turned on/off in the user's settings.

Hmm, for some reason, it feel harder to glance which thread have new posts.

Something like bold alone not enough.
And since time is specific for some region, I feel like we missing something like , post was last updated "today, yesterday, 2 hours ago etc etc"

All times in the forum use your timezone as far as I'm aware, or at least it says so in the bottom right corner. In my case it says "All times are UTC+02:00" so if I see that you posted at 4:32 pm I know it means 1:30 hours before this post.

And I don't understand the complaint about new posts. Both in the forum index and in every subsection threads with new posts are differentiated by their icon. Red (instead of black) in the forum home and "on" for every subsection (here is what I'm talking about in case it's not clear)

I kinda agree with iwansqall. it's small and not visible enough.
(he also wants relative times instead of absolute... we could try adding it in the options later)

also: maybe add a warning when people are posting and the last page isn't open, when they think they're responding to the last post, but it actually isn't. but that's low priority...

can we move the page navigation ( [<] [1] [2] [3] ) above the quick reply textbox? it's confusing the shit out of me. on the old forum it's above the reply area.

allow people to specify in settings how many posts are displayed on every page? displaying more uses more bandwidth and might not make sense in some cases (eg. someone wants to view just a few posts, but 23423432 posts are displayed - waste of bandwith). maybe make it work just when clicking the "new posts" button?

add ads for guests/unregistered?

- add number of badges after the badge icon
- change badge pics when changing tiers in the admin area
