on-switch ...what does it mean?

Hello. In many build guides on this forum i see a term used often in key binding guides. ''on-switch skill'' or ''on switch weapon skill''...apply the buff on on-switch weapon'' Can anyone explain to me what does it mean , and how to do it?

You have 2 weapon slots, you switch between them. On switch means you swap to your other set of weapons to buff, then switch back to your main weapons.

thank you, but can you please tell me how that works? why would i need to swap to the other weapon set to buff? you mean i can put in my other weapon set, items that have skills on them, and buff me with those weapon skills, then i can switch back to my main set ?

Yes, that's correct. Press "W" to switch between your two equipped weapons.
