Spamming would lead to bans, thats why I think its an elegant way to deal with trolls.

ya but not everyone is troll and not everyone likes to post much even if they spend much time here. Take me for an example.. i have 63 post (if i count this one) so that disables my ability to cookify or get cookie while i still spend a lot of time on forum and being an old player, many people knows me, i would like to vote on stuff i know r good or bad.. if my post count would disable me to cookie then i will just probably stop caring about cookies all together ... but thats just me..

Disabling the signature for everyone worked fine bcz signature is not really a need of the forum for everyone to have, but cookies shows what people support and like and what they dislike, so everyone would want it and would spam everywhere with maybe useful or useless posts...

maybe 50 is a too high number of post.. if u do wanna limit it by post count, then maybe 10-15 posts should do to unlock this feature for a new person...

idk man.. i still think 50 is too high .. it will increase the number of active posters ofc but i hate to see people posting msg like " this^ " and other one word posts just to make their post relevant yet completely useless.. ( i know not all 1 word posts r useless but i hope u get what i m trying to say)

I understand your concern, but I don't think thats going to be an issue. And I personally think 50 is too low as well. 100 sounds about right.

well its a good suggestion anyway but my concern is just the post count needed for it.. i guess i will let marco decide on what he thinks is good enough or let someone else join this discussion ...

if someone really wanted it, there's the "Forum games" forum section where you can get like 50 posts in one day... look at greg's post count. XD

Still would be a hassle to manage one account, not to mention making multiple accounts just to give yourself a cookie every day and neg others at the same time.

Center the image maybe. though it would probably look weird with the text under it left justified, if you don't add an empty line below it then.

Boxes with thread names on the right:
As I already said it would be nice if too long thread names have a title that displays the full thread name.

Menu:
Make "Home" redirect to the portal. and "Forums" to the forum.
Also, the portal shouldn't be on forum.median-xl.com imo, but on http://www.median-xl.com or home.median-xl.com or something... unless you have some other plans for the home button, like a landing page.
