hello everyone,
so I just started my adventure with the mod and got some questions:
1.are apples usefull or should I just sell them?
2.what can I do with rings of disengagement and hangmans besides transmuting them into arcane shards?
3.are gems usefull for something?
newbie questions
1. Some characters have a use for apples.
2. You can turn them into signets instead of arcane shards. Unique rings, amulets, jewels and quivers can turn into signets.
3. Perfect gems are very useful. They are used to unsocket runewords so you can reroll them and to create elixirs.

1) Eat one every 10 minutes while killing monsters, sell the rest
2) You can enhance the disengagement ring with mystic orbs if you have the gold and wear it while levelling. Otherwise yes, disenchant.
3) Socket them in your gear, unique & rare items can be unsocketed nearly for free with a vendor item, without losing anything in the process. There are some recipes (check the docs cube page) that use pgems later on.

2. Yeah signets of learning
1. So they are really usefull for some chars, but they drop fairy often so it's probably not worthy to stack them, right? I am playing melee necro and lightning/cold sorc and I didn't see any skill that benefits from apples. Don't know about the items thou, I don't want to spoil the fun and be suprised when I am identyfing them
