before 1.2 i used to farm nihlathak room for rares.
Aspirine, Have you had good luck farming those A5 side areas? I get lots of Rares, but they're almost all Tiered. The only Sacreds I seem to get are low-tier items--boots, leather gloves, that sort of thing.
truth be told, i just relied on the info that since nihlathak has lots of elites and from my experience sacred rares drop a lot there, then they must drop even more in elite-only areas because there's only elites there and nothing else, unlike nihlathka who has also normal mobs beside elite ones.
also if u really really need to up your white gauntlets or whatever to rare so u can craft, and u really don't have any luck getting the rare ones and ran out of imbues, you can just make a new char and rush to outer cloister and kill the smith. make some char who's gonna have a really easy time getting there and u should be done in less than 10 min, then give the white item to that char and imbue
might seem like a load of cancer but trust me from my experience getting the rare ones to drop is gonna be much harder. on sp i got rare greaves to drop only like 15 or 20 hrs after i dinged 120. crazy stuff.
