How exactly do I access the Nephalem's Sacrifice uberquest? I got to the diamond gates, ran to the figure and got the red overlay after waiting for a boss to spawn and killing him (Malthael). Since I'm a trap rat, I couldn't use the portal until I unmorphed. Problem is when I unmorph, the edyrem and dark uldy kill me in seconds due to not having as much defense. Is there a way for me to lure them away to the other side of the map or something?

sounds like 100% WDM? which in that case it would carry ele

You think this also applies to converted damage then?

You don't have to kill anything in the Diamond Gates to start Uldy quest. Just touch the figure to get the overlay, then use Dark Portal. Don't remember if Traprats use Acid Fiends, but those would work for luring Dark Edyrem away. Otherwise, just use the Edyrem from your CFM.

Since procs aren't converted, no reason aoe would be.

Thanks for the info! I was actually able to unmorph and live long enough for the portal to come off cd and summon the portal. I've been working on the stages for the past hour or so. I'm currently stuck on stage 7...none of my abilities can hit korlic. I managed to kill the other two ancients just fine. What can I use to kill him as a trap rat?

Edit: Nevermind....I was able to damage him by alternating between my summon edyrem and quill storm...for some reason that caused my storm to actually hit him....

Then AoE is classified as a proc? So, for example, in the case of a Stormblast Barb wearing SBS, the AoE from SBS would not carry the converted Lightning damage from Stormblast? Just want to make sure I understand how it works.

This is interesting. I also had a lot of trouble with WDM attacks doing no damage to Korlic. Will try the Edyrem thing too and see what happens.

Hmm Korlic was immortal for several minutes in my game too, the other time he died first. Maybe it's just a bug where he doesn't really touch the ground after jumping? I couldn't phase bomb him either. That's not normal.

If you haven't yet, pls report this in MXL 1.2 Bugs&Feedback. Maybe it's something the devs have to look into and here it will just be lost

So after finally killing Korlic as well as the other stages, I made it to Uldy. I'm hitting him with purify, and the fight seems pretty straightforward, but it is painfully slow. I've been fighting him for over an hour and I maybe have him down to 75-80% hp. I'm purifying him as much as I can. Is there any trick to dealing more damage to him? Does he only take damage from purify if he is normal looking and not ethereal with a light beam over his head? Does he need open wounds? It doesn't seem like he does, as he hasn't regen'd any hp.

Any time you're using Purify to kill a boss, you need Open Wounds. Purify basically acts as a source of life degeneration, and applying open wounds allows the degen to have a continuous effect. In theory, you can kill Uldyssian with one purify. He has something like 50% avoid normally and when the beam is above his head, its 100% avoid, so nothing will hit.
