I have seen similar messages when I try to play things that are not compatible with my old OS, windows Vista. Does the launcher not work for win vista? Is there someway I can downgrade my installion without using launcher so that I can still install and play the mod?

MXL Launcher is using Chromium Browser engine iirc, so it requires at least Windows 7. I believe there is no legal way to obtain a clean 1.13c version of D2 unfortunately.

I saw that thread. Sadly it requires D2 keys registered with Battle.net. My physical cds have their keys on them. However, I registered them ages ago and that bnet account no longer exists.

I am definately not messing with torrents either so I guess I am just SOL when it comes to playing this mod

Wait, if you have physical copy of the game then you can just use D2SE or update your game up to 1.13c, however you need to install patches manually (not through battle.net). You don't need registered/valid D2 keys to play MXL, that's some misinformation.

Do +skills work on mercs for their skills?

Yeah mine was on Act 2 Destruction with a summon Necro. I read in another post that it was also act 2, but the poster wasn't specific on the class.

Wonder if this is a thing?

How much % is lvl 3 Tremor? I can't find it in the skill calculator.

It . would give +3, as any other oskill would on the character whose class already has the skill.

Can you cube a different class' charm for Ennead to get +2 skills on it?
