Paladin is full spell proc melee. Sorc uses WDM with spell on attack/striking procs. Necromancr can also do both of those very well. Barb could, but doesn't get as much of a spell boost compared to ele weapon damage.

It's two years old, yes. Read ryunp's crafting compendium instead.

TFS maybe. Scorpion Blade maybe as well. But I haven’t had much playtime lately, so those chars of mine are still below 50. If you want to make a guide about it, ask Aero. He usually knows which people are working on which guide.

I am playing melee assassin right now but still on hatred, until i reach destruction everything is easy. To bad Noctule is gaining magic damage from bat strike, i really dont like those mechanics. Not gonna write a guide because i am bad at english writing. (:
